Either from the children’s story or from the popular film, you’re probably familiar with the Dr. Seuss’s How The Grinch Stole Christmas. But for many whose family members are in a detention facility or have already been deported, the Grinch who stole Christmas this year was President Obama.

While claiming to be on our side, the Obama Administration continues to deport our loved ones in record numbers. Every single day, hundreds more get separated from their families. Worse still, the possibility of reform seems farther and farther away as Obama continues to blame Congress for the problems he can solve on his own.

Will Obama’s heart grow three sizes next year and grant relief? Will he stop the fatally flawed Secure Communities program? Hopefully, next year won’t mean more of the same.
